The listing describes the PDF as a completed guide, so it is the finished version rather than a draft. [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net) The game is a PSP title, so the guide matches that version. This article covers where to find the PDF, which other sites carry walkthroughs, and how to use a guide without ruining the story. [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net) If you want the story to stay a surprise, read one mission at a time instead of skimming ahead. You'll get more out of the guide that way, and you'll still have the fun of working out your own approach in each fight. ## Where can you download the PDF walkthrough? GameFAQs is the place to look for a PDF walkthrough of Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception. The site hosts a Guide and Walkthrough for the PSP game, written by vhayste. [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net) The listing offers a completed PDF guide. It also mentions a started TXT guide, which tells you the PDF is the finished version. If you want the full walkthrough in one file, the PDF is the one to download. [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net) To get it, open the GameFAQs listing and download the PDF. Once it is on your device, open it in any PDF reader and keep it beside the game. For example, if you are stuck on a mission, jump to that mission's heading and read only that part. The listing is dated Nov 5, 2007\. [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net) ## Which other sites have walkthroughs for this game? StrategyWiki is the first other site to check. It has a page for Ace Combat X: Skies of Deception as part of its walkthrough and strategy guide wiki. [\[2\]](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception?ref=idleweekend.net) That page sits in the category for guides at completion stage 0, so the guide may still be in progress. [\[2\]](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception?ref=idleweekend.net) Its table of contents lists Gameplay with a Controls page, while the Walkthrough entry is a red link to an edit screen, so you may find little to read there yet. [\[2\]](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception?ref=idleweekend.net) The page is also marked as a stub and asks readers to help expand it. [\[2\]](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception?ref=idleweekend.net) Neoseeker is the other option. Its FAQs and Guides page for the game accepts walkthrough submissions. [\[3\]](https://www.neoseeker.com/ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/?ref=idleweekend.net) If you have a guide of your own, its page says to use the submission form, or to email faqs@neoseeker.com with the file attached. [\[3\]](https://www.neoseeker.com/ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/?ref=idleweekend.net) If you land on a StrategyWiki page with no walkthrough yet, go back to the Neoseeker FAQs page and look through its list of guides. Open each page in a new tab so you can switch between the two without losing your place. ![A person sits at a desk browsing several gaming guide websites open in browser tabs on a laptop screen.](https://tse1.mm.bing.net/th?q=laptop%20browser%20with%20several%20gaming%20guide%20tabs%20open&w=800&h=450&rs=1&c=4) ## How do you use a walkthrough without spoiling the game? Start with the first mission, Skies of Deception, and finish it before you open anything else. Your goal there is to shoot down a squadron of bombers attacking Aubrey [\[4\]](https://acecombat.fandom.com/wiki/Skies%5Fof%5FDeception%5F%28mission%29?ref=idleweekend.net). Play it yourself first, so you learn the controls and how enemies move before any hints come in. Read only the part of the walkthrough for the mission you are on, and stop before the next one. Walkthroughs often run straight through the story, so one careless scroll can reveal a later plot twist. If you keep the guide open on a second screen, leave it at the current mission's heading. Use the aces list only when you are stuck. The list covers named aces and star units, along with their locations and spawn requirements [\[5\]](https://acecombat.wiki.gg/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception/Aces?ref=idleweekend.net). Say you cannot find one enemy in a fight: look up that one ace, learn what you need, and close the list again. That way you get help for the problem in front of you without learning the rest of the game in advance. ## Where should you start? Start with the completed PDF on GameFAQs. That listing offers a finished walkthrough for this game, so you can download it once and keep it on your computer [\[1\]](https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/psp/932560-ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/50682?ref=idleweekend.net). Open the listing, download the PDF, and save it somewhere easy to find before you start playing. Keep StrategyWiki or Neoseeker open as a backup. If the PDF doesn't answer your question, StrategyWiki has its own page for the game in its walkthrough wiki [\[2\]](https://strategywiki.org/wiki/Ace%5FCombat%5FX:%5FSkies%5Fof%5FDeception?ref=idleweekend.net), and Neoseeker takes walkthrough submissions [\[3\]](https://www.neoseeker.com/ace-combat-x-skies-of-deception/faqs/?ref=idleweekend.net). Whichever guide you use, read one mission at a time. Open only the section for the mission you're on and stop before the next one, so the story still has its surprises. ## Sources 1.
